IT Infrastructure Feature Designer

Context

Our team of Infra Feature Designers is looking for a new colleague to join them to strengthen the relationship between the internal departments of the company and our external IT infrastructure provider in realizing the IT infrastructure projects.
The infra Feature Designer (agile) is the bridge between the company’s business units, the subsidiaries and the external IT infrastructure provider for all IT infrastructure projects. He/she will support and guide these projects and take the needed actions for meeting the goals related to timing, budget, quality and customer needs.

Each Infra Feature Designer will be the SPOC for all infra projects of a group of business units of the company.
The goal is to obtain a high degree of satisfaction for the IT infrastructure services.

Function

You will manage the relationship between the client as a “Trusted advisor” and the IT infrastructure provider, to adapt the service offer, both technically and financially, to the needs and evolution of the Business Units. You will be required to:
– Manage the inflow and prioritization of the infrastructure projects together with the internal client and the IT infrastructure provider in accordance with the priorities set by the company. – Manage the portfolio of infrastructure projects with the internal client (Management, PMO, Business managers, development solution designers etc.) and the IT infrastructure provider, to help the client, translate the functional needs of the Business for delivering clear requirements to infrastructure solution designer of the IT Infrastructure provider.

– Be a key person in the end-to-end follow-up of the solutioning and implementation of the infrastructure projects to guarantee the delivery of these projects in the agreed timing, in accordance with the budgetary agreements, with high technological quality and in accordance with the customer needs.

– Manage the SLOs for the Business services provided to the client, with Business managers, ICT and infrastructure provider, in order to monitor and guarantee the quality of services.
– For doing these activities you will actively use the agile project planning tool Target Process, participate in the 3 monthly Big Room Planning of the company and use the agile methodology within the SAFE framework that is used within the company to deliver projects. – be the owner of some specific activity linked to the infrastructure projects follow-up to enhance the relationship by continuous improvement of the governance (special standardized tracks follow-up, metrics calculation and reporting linked to the agreed KPI’s, …)

Profile

– A master’s degree or equivalent by experience
– Good general knowledge about IT infrastructure
– Interested in different domains of IT and their technological evolutions (agile, big data, IAM, IT Security, workplace, network, …)
– A good team player willing to share best practices and knowledge
– Able to work autonomously and take initiative to pick up new things
– pro-active, positive minded, creative, ambitious, challenger, taking initiatives
– You have essential negotiation skills
– good communication skills towards all different stakeholders (technical and non-technical) – Fluent in NL and/or FR and good knowledge of English
– You are well structured and organized
– You have experience with agile methodology
