At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join our UniQue team in Brussels!

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Support the IT Operations team in designing, deploying, and optimizing infrastructure systems.
  • Maintain and support Windows endpoints (Windows 10/11) and Windows Server environments.
  • Manage and update Microsoft and third-party applications via SCCM and other deployment tools.
  • Develop, validate, and release OS deployment images and task sequences for endpoints.
  • Ensure consistent patching, software updates, and antivirus management across all devices.
  • Administer and optimize Group Policies (GPO) for Windows environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd and 3rd level incidents and problems related to endpoints and infrastructure services.
  • Maintain and support printing services (e.g., UniFlow, print servers).
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system optimization.
  • Prepare and update documentation and knowledge base articles to support Service Desk and end-users.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 11 years of professional IT experience
  • Deep knowledge in one or more IT domains such as infrastructure, security, or systems administration.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM and GPO management (application and update releases, task sequences, troubleshooting).
  • Proven experience creating Windows deployment images and application packages.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory management.
  • OS and application troubleshooting (Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Familiarity with UniFlow or similar printing environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies (Intune, Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Defender).
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a global IT operations environment
  • Capable of participating effectively in multilingual meetings. A strong use of the English language is expected
