Your mission

As an IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, setup, integration, and the new network in the existing rail IT infrastructure of our customer (computer rooms, shelters, outdoor cabinets, computer controlled signal boxes). Also the design ofthe installed components, cabling andfiber networks along the tracks to connect the outdoor cabinets and interlocking shelters with the existing computer room are part of the job.

Your Tasks Include
  • Analyse, review, evaluate network requirements specifications and align with the Customer requirement
  • Network & server management (Computer rooms)
  • Site Survey coordination in the Computer room
  • Produce technical network documentation (Manuals, Design of Network Topologies, …)
  • Interaction in project management and with the customer
  • Support role & helpdesk function
Your experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in System and Network Design
  • Experience with Linux
  • Communicative
  • Fluent in Dutch & French
