Our client, a leading Software, Information, and Communication Technologies company, with offices around the globe, is looking for a Java Architectto join their innovative team in Brussels, Belgium.They are a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations, and multinational companies, research, and academic institutes.

Job Type:Contract/Consultant

Max Daily Rate: 450 EUR


Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:

  • University degree in IT or a related field and minimum 11 years of experience in IT analysis

  • Deep knowledge in the domain of Java Enterprise technology (Java EE 8)

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience with Java EE 8, Java tools Java tools and frameworks: Spring Boot 2.4.x, Spring Data 2.5.x, Spring 5.3.x, Spring Security 5.5.x, Hibernate 5.4.x, JPA 2.4.x

  • Experience in Web services (SOAP, REST) and Web Socket

  • Experience in Java Message Service (Queues and Topics) and Oracle RDBMS

  • Experience in Front-end frameworks: Angular 7 or higher, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ngRX, TypeScript, PrimeNg, Bootstrap, Angular Materialize

  • Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service bus)

  • Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, XPath, Agile software development methodologies and SCRUM, Continuous integration and build environment: Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, NodeJS, Git or SVN, Selenide, Cucumber, JUnit or similar

  • Experience with Continuous Security Assurance: Fortify, SonarQube, OWASP DependencyChecks

  • Analysis of requirements, drafting of analysis deliverables, UML modelling, and prototyping

  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents

  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills

  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment

Responsibilities:

  • Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements, drafting of analysis deliverables, UML modelling

  • Design of wireframes and mock-ups (or other visual prototyping) which lead to intuitive user experience and translation of business concepts into system interface

  • Specifications and design of user interfaces and navigation maps

  • Development, testing and maintenance of software applications

  • Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices with Java Enterprise & front-end technologies, enterprise & web content management, XML, interoperability, multi-device development

  • Data analysis and data modelling
