Brief Summary of Role:

Java/J2EE Technical analysts designs the key technical components of the solution to get it implemented as part of the project deliverables. The Technical analysts gather the functional and non-functional requirements and prepares specific technical documentation in order to explain the business needs towards development team and other IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the technical analysts focused on Java/J2EE application.
  • Coordinates with architect, product owner, development team (offshore) team members
  • Owns end to end responsibilities of tasks from initial planning and requirements analysis, through low level design and follow up for development and deployment.
  • Judges the trade-offs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project.
  • Works directly with clients to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, delivers key components design of technology solution.

Key Skills:

  • To gather functional and non- functional technical requirements
  • To propose IT solutions for specific business ideas, to contribute to a product backlog together with business counterpart and domain lead.
  • To prepare specific technical documentation in order to explain the business needs towards the development team and other IT Stakeholders eg; project objectives , project scope, functional and non-functional, assumptions and to collect an overview of the different development cost estimations.
  • To define testing requirements together with business, the domain lead, quality assurance and testing teams
  • To assist project manager by inputting the status reports
  • Must have knowledge in working with web development tools such as HTML 5, CSS 3, J2EE features
  • Knowledge of Web Service implementation, Data Structures and Algorithms, Knowledge of MVC framework
  • Have hands-on experience of java development skills in spring and hibernate with backend and frontend to be able to create low level design documents.
  • Working knowledge of testing tools and frameworks including Junit, JMeter.

Additional Skills (Good to have) :

  • MySQL or Oracle (Writing Queries, Procedures, Execution and Tuning)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skill.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins deployment
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML message formats.
