Role Overview:

As a Junior Engineering Information Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and organizing technical product data within engineering environments. This is an entry-level, non-technical operations role focused on supporting data accuracy, document control, and process compliance within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

You will collaborate closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure that CAD files, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and change requests are properly structured, versioned, and maintained across internal platforms.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and curious, looking to grow in a structured, engineering-adjacent career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload and maintain CAD drawings, technical documentation, and product records in PLM systems
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with naming conventions, version control, and change workflows
  • Track, follow up, and help resolve missing or inconsistent data in coordination with engineers and project leads
  • Support the release process of components, parts, and technical packages
  • Assist with the creation and improvement of documentation standards and internal data-handling processes
  • Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering, quality, and production teams

Tech Stack & Tools:

Previous experience with these tools is a plus, but not required — full training is provided.

  • PLM systems: Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, or PTC Windchill
  • CAD software: CATIA, SolidWorks (read-only use)
  • Microsoft Excel (for tracking and basic data formatting)
  • Document management systems (SharePoint, internal platforms)
