Job Description

In the Telenet agile organisation, there is a Tribe that focuses on 250K of our customers: The Small Office - Home Office business customers or SOHOs! In that Tribe 4 squads are defined: Value Management Get & Grow, Portfolio and IT Services. The Portfolio Squad focuses on our core connectivity products and delivers internet, mobile, telephone & television to SOHO customers and services related to connectivity. The IT Services squad focuses on - obviously - IT solutions for SOHOs. The other squad focuses on running the campaigns to attract new customers and retain customers.

SOHO IT Services Squad Mission

We make digital unconventionally simple, frictionless and human for small business owners. By offering need-based IT solutions to SOHO customers we help them to grow and enhance their businesses and discover new growth potential by introducing new services.

SOHO IT Services Squad Scope

The SOHO IT Services Squad has the ownership of the following product lines:
  • Online Essentials - Brand new & fast growing website creation & management service
  • Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Office 365 managed by Telenet for its customers - Professional E-mail & Microsoft Productivity Applications + Telenet Business professional support
  • Domain Names - We are a leading domain name registrar, domain names can be ordered separately or are bundled with some solutions Shared
  • Hosting Windows & Linux, allows customers to self create their online applications
  • New Business Development: The SOHO IT Services has also an important mission to expand step by step with more IT solutions sized to the needs of SOHOs. For this we use a Garage Approach: an accelerated way to introduce new IT services in the market.
IT Services are an important growth and customer loyalty tool for Telenet Business. This team is fully focused to further grow the existing solutions and expand the portfolio with new solutions. The IT services we deliver are designed as very simple & scalable & fit for our our target market.

The team has the opportunity to work as a real start-up within Telenet, combining the best of the start-up mentality with the leverage of a powerful organisation.

SOHO IT Services Squad Team

As a small team, each member will be expected to work as broad as possible, like we would do if we were a real start-up. We are responsible to roll out the A to Z process in the Telenet organisation and we constantly learn, enhance and improve.

Who are we looking for?
  • We are looking for an open minded & versatile person with a good understanding of IT basics
  • Knowing about website creation, domain names & Microsoft 365 stack is a plus
  • We are looking for a person that is hands on & eager to make a difference in the squad
  • You have at least 2 years of experience by preference as a Product Manager, Business Analyst or Functional Analyst
  • You have a master degree
Product Proposition Role
  • You can expect a varied package of responsibilities:
  • Taking the responsibility of 1 or more products or projects for new product introductions
  • Identifying & describing customer needs in the IT Services space
  • Defining the relevant market segments within the market
  • Development of customer value propositions (CVP’s) for our products and services
  • Document and write/coordinate the documentation, inspiration & FAQs for the customers
  • Conduct market studies & process data insights to validate new initiatives
  • Defining the customer experience that we want to achieve throughout the customer journey, and, working together with the organization, defining projects to improve the customer journey.
  • Detecting market trends and mapping the competitive landscape
  • Matching initiatives with the Telenet and Telenet Business mission statement (why, what & how)
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders, such as: brand manager, Go-To-Market, sales, customer care
  • Support & Train Sales & Customer Care colleagues in the IT Services we offer
