For our site in Dendermonde, we are looking for aLegal Advisor.

What will you do for us?

As a key member of the corporate legal department, the Legal Advisor is responsible for analyzing, drafting and negotiating business contracts, preparing external legal communication and providing legal advice to ensure legal compliance and protect the interests of the organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Review, interpret and draft business contracts, such as NDAs, purchase contracts, sales contracts, development contracts, lease contracts etc.
• Align with stakeholders within the organization as part of the contract review process
• Propose, coordinate, prepare and consolidate contractual feedback toward business partners
• Participate in contract negotiations with business partners
• File and label newly concluded contracts in the corporate contracts database
• Draft legal communication toward business partners, such as business termination letters, legal claims etc.
• Provide legal advice and assistance to the organization to ensure legal compliance and minimize exposure
• Create and optimize contractual templates of the organization
• Create and optimize contract review procedures

What will you bring to PSS?

• You have a master’s degree in Commercial Law, Master’s degree in Business Management with specialization in Commercial Law or equivalent professional experience
• Minimal work experience: 0-3 years
• In-depth knowledge of Commercial Law is necessary
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written). Proficiency in German, Chinese and French are a plus
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to make effective decisions in critical situations
• Dedicated with an aptitude in problem-solving
• Able to deal with fixed deadlines and changing priorities
• Proactive approach and target driven
• Very precise and meticulous
• Eager to perform in a multi-disciplinary and cultural environment and to work with people from various levels and departments
