General description of the role

Overseeing and coordinating logistics of the transport assignments, avoiding potential delays and disruptions in the delivery of fine art and valuable items to clients.
Optimizing the truck scheduling and routes, resulting in efficient use of resources and decreased transportation costs.
Ensuring the tracking, safety and security of art pieces during transit, decreasing the risk of damage or loss.

Performance indicator

On-Time Delivery Rate: Timely delivery is critical in the art transport industry to meet client expectations and maintain a reliable service.
Cost Efficiency in Logistics: Efficient use of resources and optimization of routes contribute to cost savings and profitability.
Response Time: Quick response to requests or incidents to ensure proper running of operations and client satisfaction.

After 3 months

Optimized Route Plan: Develop and implement optimized route plans, resulting in a reduction in transportation time and costs.
Communication Enhancement with Clients: Implement a communication strategy that includes regular updates and alerts for clients, leading to an improvement in client satisfaction scores.
Emergency Response Protocol: Establish an emergency response protocol outlining procedures for addressing incidents, with a focus on minimizing damage and ensuring the safety of valuable items.

Education, Certifications, Languages and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years’ experience in logistics and transportation management
Fluent in English (C2) and Fluent in FR. Fluent in NL is a plus.
