The Job

UNchained labs is building the next cool life sciences tools company, and the analytical instruments fit directly

into that mission. We need a high octane Manager of the Field Applications Scientist, who will also support our

current and future products. Our analytical products enable dramatic gains in R&D productivity and innovation in

drug development organizations by enabling our customers to do more with less and get the answer faster. We

need people to roll up their sleeves, sweat, think outside the box, collaborate with our customers and create

something special with us.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of innovative solutions to customer challenges
  • Motivate the team, and keep the team focused on innovation and growth
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Provide detailed technical feedback to the internal team on customer needs and product performance
  • Conduct pre-sales technical presentations and seminars
  • Plan and execute demonstrations of Unchained Labs analytical instruments
  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of the Unchained Labs product line
  • Pro-actively provide post-sales account development support
  • Install, QC instruments, and train new customers
  • Provide front-line technical support and work with internal escalation teams as needed
  • Keep CRM system up to date with customer notes and issues
  • Maintain positive customer relations to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction





Qualifications

  • Collaborative mindset, who can work well with your colleagues and senior management
  • MS degree in Biochemistry or a related scientific field, PhD preferred
  • 3-4+ years as a FAS/Sr. FAS or 1-2 years in a technical leadership position in related biotech industry

  • Ability to travel up to 40% overnight when required
