Material and Document Controller


Jobomschrijving

The Material and Document Controller provides materials and administrative support during the engineering design, execution and/or commissioning phase(s) of one or more projects
Your main responsibilities and key outputs to the project team are :
Being Responsible for the Material and Document Control content of the capital projects and technical services requests.
Manage all aspects of assigned materials and documents to provide optimum services to the project teams and to ensure successful supply of materials for assigned projects within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
Updating of the Material and Document Control Database as per the requirements.
Interfacing with engineers and suppliers to acquire the approval of all related documents and drawings.
Filing all documents and drawings as per the guidelines.
Being Responsible for Logistics including shipping arrangements and coordination with vendors.
Managing all aspects of equipment movements to site, in order to optimise number of shipments to final sites.
Issuing PO (Fast Order) whenever required.
Coordinating of the suppliers invoice control process.
Delivering general support to site project engineering teams.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement within the different areas of responsibilities.

Functievereisten

Profile :
You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
Strong administrative talent and willingness to work in an international project environment are a must.
You are fluent in English and you have strong interpersonal skills as you will be working in one or more project teams at a time.
You are proactive, eager to learn and you are creative and innovative
