WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the LAB people team you will be delivering the global mobility programs within the LAB system and supporting with transfer activity for the Amsterdam and Brussels offices.

MOBILITY

  • Transfer Committee
Presenting the AMS / BRU (A – PL) applications to the Transfer Committee, you will prepare candidate application information and complete the full due diligence prior to the committee meeting, facilitating meaningful assessment and discussion.
Updating key stakeholders on committee outcomes, pipeline transfer activity and impact on local capacity planning.
  • Local Transfer co-ordinator
Collaborate across teams to facilitate the end-to-end process for transfers in and out of AMS & BRU (system and geographic hosted moves), you will be the key contact for local mobility queries for existing and potential transfers.
You will provide guidance and support to transferring employees throughout their transfer experience to ensure that our employees are affiliating successfully to their new office and the transfer is successful.
Representing LAB Mobility at CT and BST onboarding sessions to educate our new joiners on international working opportunities and programs at BCG
Update the local HR (Staffing, CDC and HR Ops), Payroll & finance teams on transfer costs and relocation expenses in line with agree policy (International New hires and Transfers)
  • Global Programs
BCG has a number of dedicated mobility programs which aim or provide our consulting staff with high quality international experiences in addition to supporting our Social Impact partners with key project roles. This role is the LAB contact in relation to the launch, nomination process and transfer support across LAB (AMB, AAB, CEO, SI secondments etc.)
Support the global program teams with queries on LAB applications and program participants.
Review and present applications and make recommendations to the transfer committee and notify global programs team and key stakeholders on outcomes of applications.

IMMIGRATION

Guide the business, recruitment and staffing teams on the appropriate immigration route for business travellers international new hires and COS into AMS & BRU.
Track local oversight immigration activity and support Immigration Assistant in resolving technical queries and escalate to the LAB M&I Manager where appropriate.
Review monthly visa expiry report and confirm extensions / terminations with Immigration Assistant.
Work with local HR to ensure that local immigration record keeping meets government requirements
Support with monitoring and managing the AMSImmigration@bcg.com & BRUImmigration@bcg.com Mailboxes
  • Functional Activity
    Collaborate across teams to support on cross border compliance activities (Including posted worker activity)
    Provide team cover across LAB during vacation and absences
    Participate in external forums and briefings to gain awareness of changes in industry and share within wider team.
    Build strong links with local office people teams and Global Mobility communities to represent system with best practice sharing.
    Contribute to team projects throughout the year.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

    • Undergraduate degree required

    • English language essential, Dutch and or French preferred.

    • Relevant immigration or mobility work experience, preferably in a professional services firm

    • A track record for being able to connect as a trusted advisor with senior colleagues with good judgment, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style

    • Experience working with Workday and Assignment Pro preferred in addition to working with collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Egnyte, Trello)
