Department: Facility- & Project Management The technical manager projects will assume technical responsibility for the projects addressed. In this regard, he/she/x will leverage his expertise to develop concepts, compile design specifications, address technical fit-out, propose enhancements, investigate, propose and execute enhancements, and lead/support full-blown (high) tech projects within the BeLux Facility- & Project Management scope. Furthermore, within that framework, they will assume responsibility for managing a team of engineers to ensure project scope and corresponding deadlines.
Your Role

Technical Facility Management

• Supervising and following up on the preparation & implementation of logistics buildings and the corresponding technical fit-out.
• Plan, execute, and control technical building measures (new buildings, modifications, and renovations)
• Work closely and proactively with internal organizations, contractors, engineering offices, etc.
• Have in-depth technical knowledge in various disciplines, such as there are electricity/electronics (knowledge of technical failures), ventilation /cooling techniques, industrial engineering, maintenance of machines, air treatment, measurement and control technology, management of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, security, fire protection, etc.
• Contribute to defining technical scope & requirements within our processes towards project commitment in alignment with the customer.
• Plan, Establish, Implement and ensure sustainable maintenance service on high-end technical challenges.
• Ensure good relationships and follow-up on the various suppliers involved in the multiple projects.
• Define and monitor milestone planning managing and leading the suppliers towards agreed service delivery standards
• Request, evaluate and optimize supplier offers in concept proposal as cost.
• Look for competitive alternatives to existing suppliers within the project purpose and scope.
• Calculate costs of projects or technical enhancements potentially preparing Business Investment Applications.
• Monitor budgets and approve supplier contracts in collaboration with the corresponding stakeholders.
• Challenge quotations and financially negotiate with the supplier’s optimal offers in concept, pricing, deliverables, and after-investment services. Your Responsibilities

Your Skills And Experiences

• Technical Bachelor/Master in (Industrial) engineering
• Knowledge of Pharma.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Strong technical background.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business gaining buy in.
• Good knowledge of Project Management tools.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Strong affinity with required customer quality standards/Scope & requirements setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
• Ability to demonstrate an analytical, logical and numerate approach.
• Ability to perform risk analysis within the decision making progress.
