What will you do?

To successfully renew, build and integrate applications, ADESA Europe is looking for a mid-senior .NET Developer.

• You will be working on a software system that is the backbone of the ADESA Europe organization. The system is handling approximately 100 000 car sales per year, within and across countries, with a variety of regulations and more than 150 partner integrations, while maintaining a unified experience to our buyers.
• You make and guide technical design decisions within the .NET world and besides that, you also have some experience in React or Angular.
• You report to the lead of your product team, one of 4 scrum teams across the ADESA Europe IT Organisation, in close collaboration with the business and other IT teams, including IT Ops and architecture.
• As a med-senior developer you will also coach other developers in the team, sharing your experience and using pair programming.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor’s degree in IT (or equal by experience)
• You are a positive team player that likes to work in a motivating international environment
• You have a proven experience of minimum 3 years as a C# .NET developer in a web environment

• You have excellent communication and technical lead skills that fit your senior developer background
• You are knowledgeable about service orientation, and experienced with RESTful web services and web sockets

• You have a quality mindset, achieve high levels of code quality standard

• You are experienced in the Agile way of working (Scrum, SAFe), and devops (CI/CD, pipelines)

• You are fluent in English, Dutch or French are a plus
• You are open to work 2 days/week at the Tienen office
