We’re a fast-growing Ghent-based startup and we lead the autonomous revolution in rail. Our mission is to increase safety and efficiency of rail by teaching rail vehicles to drive autonomously in complex environments.

At OTIV, we’re convinced that railway vehicles are the fastest and most scalable use case for autonomous technology. We bring this vision to life by focusing on the most challenging use cases in cities, shunting yards and industrial sites. By making these operations safer and more efficient, we actively contribute to a modal shift to rail.

We develop assistance and autonomous systems based on our world-class algorithms and high-performance industrial-grade sensors. Our expertise is valued by leading global clients and partners, including rail operators, industrial players, public transports and OEMs.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

  • is available during summer (6 to 12 weeks) or during the year
  • has a background in networking technology
  • has an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to work in a fast-pace and challenging environment
  • is eager to collaborate with other engineering teams, while also able to work independently
  • has worked with wireless cameras/video streaming
  • has a fundamental knowledge of TCP/UDP/IP stack, application protocols
