Job Description

You will be part of the Compensation & Benefits team. This team is organized as a Shared Service Center where you would complete the team as the Payroll & HRIS Specialist.

You will be based in Louvain-la-Neuve & will report to the Manager Compensation & Benefits Europe and HQ based in Belgium.

Your challenge

As a Payroll Specialist , you will provide accurate and timely payroll ensuring that deadlines are met for all payroll-related activities (for Belgium). Your main tasks will be:
  • Processing end-to-end payroll for around 400 white collars in Belgium (and potentially in France and in the Netherlands)
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Ensuring that all the variable data are received in a timely manner
  • Preparing monthly payroll using payroll software packages (SD WORX )
  • Processing of statutory documentation
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Administrative management of the benefits (insurances, bonus, meal voucher, flexible income plan...)
  • Gathering and providing all the payroll data in case of social/fiscal control
  • Back up for the blue collars Payroll (Belgium and France)

As an HRIS specialist , you will be the support (for Belgium and Europe):
  • of our HR Master data accuracy for Belgium and the rest of Europe (currently SAP HR)
  • of all the other HR IT tools (Mobile expense, Time attendance…)
  • of our internal reporting tool (Power BI)
  • of all the reporting requests
  • Be actively involved in coming projects related to HRIS, their simplification, automatization

The ideal candidate profile

Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Human Resources or equivalent by experience
  • Excellent knowledge of HRIS
  • A strong experience working with IT tools is a plus

Experience
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position

Your professionalskills
  • System oriented
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A strong background as Payroll Specialist including time attendance, mainly blue collars
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • End-to-end payroll knowledge
  • Knowledge of eBlox and SAP is a big advantage
  • Knowledge of various payroll systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead projects linked to Payroll & Administration
  • Fluent in French and good level in English
