FunctionBarco is investing worldwide in its factories and logistic hubs. To support this growth, we are looking for a Plant Director who will take up the responsibilities for the production site in Kortrijk.As Plant Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing operations, driving operational excellence, monitoring supply chain and driving automation of manufacturing, assembly and logistics.Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing new processes to further improve the performance of the production unit has no secrets for you. Through operational excellence and your innovative mindset, you make the production plant future-proof and adapt to the changing business needs.
  • As a born leader you know how to guide and organize the different multi-disciplinary teams. You invest in the personal development and growth of your employees, which are key to the success of tomorrow’s plant.
  • You provide the senior management with the necessary input on the operation performance through the reporting of a balanced set of key performance indicators. In addition, you manage all operational costs and investments to keep the organization on track.
  • The different Business Units can count on you to support the different product development projects (NPI) and to ensure the required deliverables.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in managing a manufacturing site
  • You have the experience to define the needs for a future proof site in terms of automation, logistics and digitization.
  • You have a global perspective and a healthy dose of business acumen, you always see the bigger picture.
  • You drive for results and ensure execution
  • Through your excellent interpersonal and communication skills you will be a coach to your team. You inspire and create a culture of trust.
  • Knowledge of Dutch is a must
