We have an excellent career opportunity for a Product Owner to help to design and develop the Bricsys products with a focus on the construction industry.
At the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy, you will ensure that commercial and business initiatives are translated into a practical implementation in the product. Your main responsibilities include supporting the management of the backlog, analysing and describing new features, working with the development team to follow-up and deliver the product roadmap, and understanding our customers’ needs.
Your key responsibilities
- Support Product Management in building the product roadmap:
-Define the OKRs (objectives and key results) for upcoming releases for their product area
-Build out and confirm the viability of the product roadmap for their product area, in accordance with the defined OKRs
- Groom and prioritize the development backlog, the key responsibility of a Product Owner:
-Ensure that the development team is focused on high value product elements and delivers on roadmap commitments
-Create user stories to ensure that the team is in sync with product and feature requirements, by clearly stating problems, goals, objectives, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure product/market fit and stakeholder buy-in of planned & delivered features by:
-Understanding and meeting the real market needs
-Secure the correct product requirements via customer feedback on usability and suitability of planned and delivered features
- Keep all direct stakeholders engaged and awareof:
-Market / Product Requirements
-Risk management issues
-Roadmap progress and escalation status
- Define, measure & monitor successof feature and workflow delivery
- Participate in all scrum / agile ceremonies:
-Inception, planning, reviews, retros, dailies, etc.
Candidate profile requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in the construction industry
- Experience with BIM implementation and a good understanding of ISO19650
- Hands-on work experience with CAD and BIM design software, and other BIM related applications such as clash detection, issue management, and CDE solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, with business-level English proficiency
- Excellent client facing skills and an ability to translate client issues into solutions that exceed client expectations
- Experience with analyzing, explaining, documenting and presenting complex processes and solutions
- Highly analytical, organised and structured with attention to detail.
- Ability to plan your own work, and work independently and reliably
- Knowledge of agile software development is a plus
