Information Technology at Yara is on a continuous transformation journey. We aim to enable Yara’s growth and digital ambitions to develop a faster and nimbler IT. We are now looking for the right candidate to help us make this happen, by hiring a solid Product Owner for our Cloud Center of Excellence.

Is this you? You will be working in the Core Infrastructure team within the Global Platforms and Infrastructure department. Here you and your teammates will manage and further develop the products and services portfolio Core Infra offer to the Yara’s internal customers.

Responsibilities

The product owner for Cloud will be end to end responsible for managing the catalog of PaaS services Yara IT offer to its internal customers, and innovate and transform the internal business model. The responsibility includes Azure and AWS offerings. The product owner will be responsible for developing the service catalog in alignment with the internal customers of his services, and for advertising his product internally and ensuring people are aware and know how to find it.

The product owner will also be responsible for setting the priority on the ongoing and incoming work. The product owner role includes strategic work, product design, customer liaising, and project management for the projects required to evolve the catalog he’s responsible for. The product owner will also jump in and help the product team meet their goals during a sprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the vision for the product, take a high level view and define goals for relevant projects. Maintain a cohesive vision despite flexible and fast-paced product development work. Create product roadmap to outline vision and direction for product evolution over time. Drive change.
  • Manage the product backlog. Create the list of backlog items and prioritize them based on overall strategy and business objectives. Map out project dependencies to set the sequence of activities.
  • Prioritize the needs. Manage scope, budget and time according to the needs of the stakeholders.
  • Oversee product development. PO is a key stakeholder in planning, refinement, review and sprint.
  • Anticipate client needs. Understand and anticipate client needs.
  • Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and teams. Expert communication skills are required to make sure there’s buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy
  • Evaluate product progress. Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration.
Profile
  • Previously worked in an agile setup, product ownership or DevOps environment
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
