Our Client has specialized in visual communication for Marketing purposes for more than 75 years. Thanks to a fully integrated screen printing plant and state-of-the-art digital printing machinery, they succeed in producing high-quality and durable communication materials.

As part of a larger group they are market leader in Benelux, with customers in various sectors (such as the event sector, automotive, retail...).

For the production site with 75 employees, they are looking for a Production Manager who is responsible for the entire ins and outs of production.

As Production Manager, you are the central point of contact in the plant. You are responsible for organizing, planning and optimizing all production activities, including all maintenance activities and waste streams.

You closely monitor the performance of the production process. You follow up the implementation of the long and short-term production objectives.

You ensure the development and follow-up of the production and cost budgets.

You monitor compliance with safety and quality standards and take the necessary actions in case of deviations.

Within the shift system you steer and coach the department heads and Logistics Manager where necessary.

In this role, you work closely with your colleagues from sales, marketing, purchasing, R&D and IT to set production priorities.

You will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and optimizing collaboration with subcontractors.

• You have had a technical (higher) education and can look back on several years of relevant experience within a production context.
• You have a good technical understanding of production processes and machines.
• As a people manager, you know how to motivate your team and bring out the best in your colleagues. You enjoy being on the shop floor and know what is going on in production.
• You are a bridge builder and have the necessary communication skills to negotiate independently. You take decisions where necessary.
• You have a feeling for quality and are safety-conscious. From your analytical attitude you like to improve efficiency.
• You are entrepreneurial and know how to set priorities.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch, knowledge of English is a plus.
