ENGIE Solutions in Grimbergen is looking for an experienced Project Controller to realize our ever challenging objectives.

As a Project Controller you manage the processes (financial, administrative, reporting, planning,…) facilitating the monitoring, control and follow-up of the projects.

The department International Projects, part of the division Turnkey & International Projects, located in Grimbergen (Brussels) is the reliable partner for the construction and commissioning of large and complex multi-technical installations. We serve top rated companies in Western Europe, active in petrochemical, pharma, power generation, tank storage,… with modular construction as well as stick build installation.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • define the work and cost breakdown structure to monitor the contract scope and planning
  • set up progress and cost reports, give insight in the actual status of the project progress, problem items and project forecast
  • organize the information flow, identify the necessary control staff, (IT) systems and administrative infrastructure for an effective project control
  • monitor the expenses and progress, and compare with the project budget and contract to point out and report the deviations in construction to the project team & Business Controller
  • invoice the customer correctly and in time
  • evaluate the project execution after completion (“lessons learned”)

Kwalificaties

Do you possess the following qualifications and skills?

  • master in engineering, economy or equivalent
  • you have experience in working in and coordinating technical projects
  • very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, MS Projects, Access)
  • knowledge of Primavera is a plus as is the ability for programming
  • you have above average analytical skills, together with a practical and pro-active approach and are very accurate with figures and data
  • willing to work abroad (Western Europe) during the construction phase of the project with a fixed rotation schedule
  • excellent communication skills (written and verbal), working knowledge of English, Dutch and possibly French or German
