Job

  • You are responsible for the design and execution of automation projects. You fulfill this task according to the agreed targets. (functional specifications, budget, timing safety ,….)
  • You propose improvement projects for the existing international installations and execute the required prestudy.
  • You realize the projects with a maximum standardization of components and software.
  • You support local technical teams in the analysis of technical issues.
  • You provide training to the local first line responsible in your discipline.
  • You make reports of your projects on regular base and present your projects to management.
  • You secure your specific knowledge by:
  • Clear, structured and transferable reporting on design and construction data and functions
  • Set up and deliver accurate construction files.
  • Investigate, put together and distribute ‘best practice’ maintenance data
Profile

  • Higher technical education (Master degree) in automation, electricity, electronics or equal by experience.
  • Expert knowledge on machine automation systems (hardware and software) and machine safety.
  • Knowledge on control systems (e.g. Siemens S7) and scada systems.
  • Knowledge on general electricity and industrial communication.
  • Basic knowledge on drive systems and robotics.
  • Analytical skills to get processes under control and lead to automation.
  • Good reporting skills.
  • Hands on and solution-oriented.
  • Knowledge of MS office, data management, statistical analysis.
  • Team player.
  • Great affinity with production and technics.
  • Willing to travel on regular base (25%).
  • Excellent knowledge of English. Both in speaking and writing.
  • Chinese, Dutch and/or German are a plus.
