Job Description
You are responsible for the execution and follow-up of projects related to industrial software/hardware applications to support our pharmaceutical processes.
Our systems are part of a plant-wide automation concept and integrate with equipment (PLC), measurement devices, sensors, MES, reporting, and monitoring systems.
The projects include implementations and improvements of existing systems as well as the development of new systems and concepts.
The focus is on system integration, where we make optimal use of our knowledge of the underlying infrastructure and software/hardware building blocks. This requires a broad technical skillset.
Everyone within the team contributes to supporting the industrial software and solving problems.
We work with GMP validated systems, meaning we apply GMP standards and procedures in every aspect of our work.
Your Responsibilities
• Build expertise in our industrial IoT edge systems in the domain of environmental monitoring.
• Take ownership of managing various projects.
o Communication and collaboration across teams
o Technical realization (integration, configuration, rollout)
o Application of GMP standards, validation, and documentation processes
• Provide support and implement improvements
• Maintain excellent working relationships with users and stakeholders in production, maintenance, engineering, and QA.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, automation, electronics, or equivalent.
• Strong in analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong affinity with software and computer systems.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) and network technology.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
Knowledge that adds value
• Knowledge of automation (PLC, OPC, I/O, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, GitLab
• Knowledge of software development (.NET, Python, Angular)
• Knowledge of message queuing (ActiveMQ, MQTT, etc.), REST APIs, Node-RED
• Knowledge of electrical engineering.
