Role: Project Manager for the EOSC Focus project

Contract: 29 months part-time (4/5)

Requirements and Qualifications - The PM EOSC must have:

• A master’s degree or equivalent through proven experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in at least two of the following domains:

- Project management, partly in an international context

- Knowledge of the European Commission and European projects

- Data steward/manager;

- Open Science, Open Access applications, EOSC related activities

- Business analyst/business developer in a research or academic context.

• A very broad ICT & technological knowledge; data management, data storage, data networking, collaboration tools, rights management, cloud infrastructure & services...

• Demonstrated experience in project management (methodologies, tools and best practices), planning and coordination of tasks and responsibilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and has experience in editing and writing proposals and reports.

• Strong (social) networking skills

• Collaborative and pro-active attitude and takes initiative where necessary.

• Works in an organized, autonomous and careful manner, respecting agreed deadlines and focuses on results.

• Is assertive and stress-resistant.

• Willing to travel within Europe for meetings and conferences when scheduled.
