Function

The goal of this function is to manage a projects portfolio, mainly focused on Products and Processes

Job Description

- Create, monitor and control accurate and integrated project plans

- Identify and propose key projects to guarantee a technical and/or economic advantage

- Accountable for executing project according to the Zoetis Project Execution Framework

- Ensure effective utilization of resources to ensure deliverable commitments are met

- Work effectively at the interface with other Project Managers and Project Team Members to integrate GMT plans with other activities in the plant

- Ensure that the technical aspects (CPP, CQA, specifications) are correctly defined and considered in the realization of a project

- Provide data, insight, and recommendations to enable cross portfolio reviews and to facilitate project and resource prioritization discussions

- Build a project teams, engage stakeholders, maintain cohesion and team spirit

- Gather, record and monitor to the needs of the various stakeholders during the project lifecycle

- Complete trainings and maintain competencies

- Follow guidelines for project management according to the Project Governance and applicable SOPs

- Liaise with local PMO and proactively contribute to a networked project management community, to learn and share best practices within peers

- Stay up to date regarding the latest techniques available and evaluate them on their value from a technical and commercial point of view

Qualifications

Education and experience:

University degree in appropriate discipline (i.e. pharmacy, biology, microbiology, engineering or other scientific discipline).

3 years of Project Management experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

Technical skills and soft skills competencies:

High knowledge and competencies in Project Management. PMP/PMI or equivalent certification is an asset

Knowledge of Microsoft Project is an asset.

Ability to lead and influence matrix projects teams in the design and execution of project plans including utilization of resources (FTE and budget).

Practical and effective knowledge of main engineering and pharmaceutical technics (analytical and production process).

Knowledge of GMP principles.

Strong integrity and motivation.

Quality-oriented and rigorous mind with a high level of flexibility.

Ability to manage priorities, to plan and coordinate different activities.

Ability train and motivate projects team members to meet defined project plan objectives.

Strong organizational and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse, cross-functional workplace.

Strong commitment to customer service, and continuous improvement.

Demonstrated excellent English knowledge (oral and written).
