Polytek is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. This role focuses on managing a big technical project related to industrial electricity and fiber, covering all power, distribution, communication, and safety systems essential for the power supply and protection of data center facilities and servers.

The position involves working within existing data center facilities comparable to nuclear and pharma facilities, with strict control and monitoring systems. The client is one of the world’s leading tech companies.

What are your responsibilities?

• Assist the stakeholders in defining, organizing, and managing retrofit or upgrade projects on existing assets.
• Clarify project scope and translate it into a concrete project plan, including budget estimation and planning forecasts, while considering operational constraints and business continuity.
• Draft technical specifications based on the markt standards.
• Participate in procurement processes and negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
• Supervise and oversee engineering work performed by external partners, including coordination, technical support, and approval of project milestones.
• Supervise contractor work, including meetings, safety inductions, site visits, and coordination with internal and external parties.
• Participate in commissioning and approvals by accredited bodies.

Who are you?

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical engineering, fiber technology and relevant standards; experience with BMS and/or SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work under high pressure in a demanding environment, meeting client expectations and managing workloads.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability for full-time work at the Saint-Ghislain location.
