Esko is seeking a QA Manager to coordinate the software quality testing process of Esko Cloud.

Esko, part of Danaher Corporation, is the market leader for packaging design and pre-production software. Esko Cloud is the place where packaging professionals collaborate to manage all the details of consumer product packaging, including shape, printed graphics, timeliness and cost.
Esko Cloud is a micro-service architecture with contributions from many teams spread over the world. As it grows in functionality, footprint and usage, we need more oversight over the quality and release process. For this we seek to attract or promote a QA manager.

Your challenge
You coordinate the testing efforts of approximately 10 development and testing teams, leading to the ability to release more frequently with higher quality levels.

As the Esko Cloud QA Manager, you will
Review testing methods and outcomes in the different testing teams
Train test engineers and team QA managers on methodology and processes
Design and develop quality monitoring processes
Set priorities for the improvement of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Plan quality management projects, report to upper management on progress, quality, coverage and issues
Present the quality management process to prospects and customers
Assist with quality audits by customers and independent third parties, organize remediation and reporting back.
Liaise with the Esko Security team on security penetration testing and vulnerability scan initiatives
Coordinate with other teams to design and conduct over-arching tests which align with customer requirements for an integrated flow.
Be the last voice in the go/no-go decision for release and hotfixes of the Esko Cloud platform

You understand test automation, performance testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment processes

You are persistent and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
You mentor and encourage developers, testers, support people and management, helping everybody to excel in their specializations.
You are decisive: fix fast, plan fix or don’t fix.
You prioritize the customer’s needs above internal goals
Proficiency in spoken and written English

Your Education and/or Background Experience:
Thorough experience (5 years+) with quality and release management of software products.

Test automation tooling
Software lifecycle automation software (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, …)
Programming
ISO standards
GMP and/or GAMP5
AWS
