Due to a recent collaboration with a global big Pharma organisation, my Biotech client is looking to develop and manufacture a diverse range of advanced cell-based therapies targeted at immunotherapy. Subsequently, this global Biotech is seeking to hire a QA Operations Lead.

This is a senior management level position responsible for QA release and oversight of the production operations for personalised cell therapy for both clinical and commercial purpose in a sterile GMP environment. This is a leadership position which will involve managing and recruiting a team of 10+. You will work in close collaboration with multiple teams including Manufacturing Operations, Operations Technical Support, Quality department, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Planning.

Due to the nature of this position, you should demonstrate the following:

  • Fluent Dutch & English speaker.
  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in a Life Sciences field of study.
  • Experience in a leadership and line management position.
  • 8+ years working within a QA capacity.
  • Experience working within a cell-based manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance
  • Ideally knowledge of Good Tissue Practices
