To strengthen our team in the area EMEA (Europe, Africa) we are looking for (m/f) a R&D Process Engineer, based in Aalst:

Your Position

Your purpose in this job will be to develop and introduce new technologies in the plants allowing to bring added value to processes and new products and to increase overall efficiencies.
You define projects objectively and realize the project (people, costs and timing).
You prepare and manage investment projects from application to realization.
You provide communication / follow-up on specific technical topics.
You do research, benchmark and monitor new technologies by visiting trade fairs, consulting technical literature, working with engineering companies and suppliers.
You include in projects sustainability and environmental aspects.
You organize and plan tests in plants for validating the pertinence of the new technologies or solutions.
You participate to teams with production and engineering for bringing concrete solutions that contributes to continuous improvement of production performance.
You participate to meetings with top management to present projects progress.
You organize training and follow-up when a new technology is introduced in the plant.
You will report to the EMEA R&D Director

Your Profile

You have a degree in Engineering (or equivalent by experience), preferably specialised in electro-mechanics or plastics.
You have at least 5 years of experience in high innovative manufacturing companies.
Affinity for process, technology, engineering, automation, improvement, research in new area
Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity and electronics is an asset.
Knowledge of injection molding process, inputs and machinery are a plus as well as be aware of new technologies / developments in the plastics processing industry.
You work accurately, you have a problem solving mindset and you can deal with complexity.
Fluency in English is necessary; German, French, Flemish are a plus.
