Reliability Maintenance engineer
We’re looking for an Reliability Maintenance engineer for a project on a tankterminal in Ghent.
Maintenance creates reliability. Are you passionate about engineering? Do you get energy from drawing up and implementing maintenance plans? If so, the role of Reliability Engineer is made for you.
Your duties:
As a Reliability Engineer you have the following daily responsibilities:
  • You write asset strategy documents at unit/system level
  • You set the correct medium-long and long-term priorities within the asset
  • You are responsible for drawing up the asset strategy, the long-term risk matrix and the annual plan and keeping them up to date
  • You catalogue the input needed for the strategy documents unit, such as changing legislation, market developments and reliability KPIs
  • You receive and provide the right input for the annual asset plan based on the long-term asset strategy through multidisciplinary working relationships
  • You set priorities for reliability issues and bad actors
  • You initiate root cause failure studies in response to incidents and defects
  • You use reliability tools and methodologies
  • You implement agreed strategies and support the operational service
  • You develop and manage long-term status overviews for the activity portfolio within the asset
  • You provide the operational input for unit health monitoring
  • You monitor and report on asset reliability and availability KPIs
Who are you:
  • You have completed technical education, technical university or comparable
  • You have at least 5 years’ relevant engineering experience in an operational, maintenance or engineering environment
  • You have experience of improvement processes and methodologies
  • You have experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
  • You have a VCA/VOL certificate
  • You have a good command of spoken and written Dutch and English
