As Remarketing Manager Used Cars, you are responsible for the remarketing part of the Used Cars business: you source used cars, you define residual values, you set prices and you make sure our used cars are sold to the Toyota and Lexus dealers.

  • Through the ToyotaDrive or LexusDrive platform, you sell used cars to our Toyota and Lexus dealers.
  • You make sure you have an extensive range of used cars to offer:
    • Used cars coming from our own organisation (company cars, motor show cars, ...)
    • Used cars through buy back programs with car rental companies for which you negotiate conditions
    • Used cars sourced in other European countries through traders
    • ...
  • You determine prices and residual values. You internally lead the Residual Value SteerCo.
  • You manage the full process flow from sourcing to selling, incl. defining the remarketing strategy and stock management. You collaborate with colleagues who are operationally responsible for making sure the used cars are uploaded onto the platforms.
  • You have a close collaboration with Fleet Sales to manage the expected defleet and risk management.
  • You actively look for optimizations to the ToyotaDrive or LexusDrive platforms.
  • You report to the Business Performance Director.
  • You have a deep understanding of the used cars business and remarketing processes and channels including price setting, trading mechanisms ánd residual value setting.
  • Analytical skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
  • You know how to negotiate and go for a win-win situation.
  • You are a quick learner and have insight in IT platforms in order to detect optimizations to ToyotaDrive and LexusDrive.
  • Result oriented
  • You are fluent in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation skills, both in person as digital
