Opinum is looking for a Sales Executiveto join the Opinum project team.

Opinum is a SaaS company surrounded by an open ecosystem of partners. Partners fall into two categories:

  • System Integrators who provide consultancy services and IT integration for customers willing to integrate our Data Hub into their IT landscape
  • Marketplace partners who enrich the Data Hub with proprietary solution to ease data access or provide AI/ML capabilities

The initial phase for this role will consist in identifying new prospects and transform them into customers. You will work with the lead generation team and with our partners to convince and convert them for a long term relationship. On a next phase, you will nurture the relationship with your customer to drive upgraded revenue and identify future needs.

We are looking for multiple people focusing on the following markets: Swiss(French and German speaking), Nordics, UK, Franceand Germany.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline of new utility customer opportunities
  • Define optimal go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with management
  • Coordinate the sales process (Documenting all sales activities and notifying the organization of contract/RFP due dates in Hubspot) to ensure sales targets are realized. Therefor you take full sales target ownership for your dedicated market.
  • Keep up to date with evolutions and developments in the utility sector, the standard functionalities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and new technologies.
  • Maintain relations with prospects and clients and conduct frequent face-to-face meetings in order to identify new business opportunities
  • You report directly to our CEO
  • Encourage and collaborate with new partners in order to get them "activated" and start generate new leads
  • Become an expert in energy data management and become the trusted advisor to each of your prospect

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Affinity with the utility market & 8+ years of experience in IT Solutions Sales (ERP, CIS) or in selling project-based services to utilities
  • Fluent English and marketed related language
  • High level of energy, drive, intellect, enthusiasm and commitment; including the ability to work in a fast moving, challenging and result-oriented environment
  • Able to build relationships within the utility sector to increase brand awareness & market expansion
  • A verifiable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • A firm grasp of how businesses work, including sales, consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
  • Clear and articulate communication skills and the ability to effectively drive a phone/web conversation
  • Phenomenal organisational skills
  • A good overall knowledge of the big data industry
