Green Seed Belgium is a sales & marketing consultancy company specialized in food & drink. We are part of the Green Seed Group, a unique network of 10 offices covering over 20 countries, assisting foreign companies in the development of their international business.

Our clients are food producers looking to introduce their products in the Belgian-Luxembourgian retail and foodservice market. We advise our clients, guide them in the launch process, support them in sales development and implement marketing campaigns.

Green Seed focuses especially on brands which are on trend, innovative or premium.

A food lovingSales & Marketing Support Specialist

Your job will be varied. Analysing market data, coordinating product launches and planning trade promotions will be part of the job. It is about making it happen.

You will support your colleagues, the Key Account Managers, in their sales and marketing role. You will liaise with both clients and retailers.

Responsibilities

• You have a supporting role in analyzing categories and developing commercial approaches needed for a successful introduction of the client’s products
• You will analyse market data (e.g. Nielsen IQ, retailers’ data and shopper insights) and assist in building category recommendations
• After a formal product listing, you will be responsible for getting the product on shelf, including the administrative process
• You will be assisting in the development of marketing activities. We welcome your creative side!
• Partner with KAMs to recommend in-store actions aimed at strengthening the position within categories
• You will analyze the performance of activities and make improvement recommendations
• You take ownership of projects which are given to you and liaise with the rest of the Green Seed team

Core competencies, experience and skills

• Ideally at least 2 years of successful experience in FMCG
• Excellent analytic skills, with an eye for detail
• You are an excel wizard
• Skills in design and creation tools (e.g., Photoshop, Indesign) are a plus.
• Affinity with digital marketing tools
• A solution-oriented professional, in keeping with the client’s briefing and strategic ambitions
• Good communication skills
• An enthusiastic team player
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a ‘can-do’ mentality and a sense of responsibility

Profile

You have a degree in business, marketing or economics (university or equivalent through experience). Fluency in English, Dutch and French is required. A fun, dynamic and clear team spirit is important. You have an affinity with food. A first relevant work experience in an analytical function or in the area of POS, promotions and trade/channel management concepts is a plus.
