Located in Netherlands or Belgium we are looking for a:

SAP SCM Team Lead (SAP EWM & MM) (d/f/m)

We are looking for a SAP SCM team lead (expert in SAP EWM & MM) (d/f/m), who has the experience of building a template and rolling it out to countries in various geographies. You will join our team of highly experienced SAP consultants, who perform advisory and implementation services during all phases of a life cycle implementation and support during operations. You act as a link between Business process owners, key users and the build team, to translate the requirements into processes within SAP.

Your main tasks are:
  • Design and safeguard the template on Warehouse management & Procure to Pay processes (involving SAP EWM & MM). Support the business process owners in building the best fit solution ensuring that it meets the future objectives & strategy of the organization.
  • Apply the experience gained from previous implementations to provide guidance on best practices in building the template solution.
  • Participate in projects related to implementation SAP S/4 HANA and be part of operations & support team to drive improvement projects.
  • Analyze requirements, performs cost-benefit analysis, and prepare the business case, following the best practices and present it for approval by change board.
  • Validate requirements for designing new common solutions and guard the commonality and integrity of the solution.
  • Formulate and maintain system- and user documentation in designated repositories and support the user community.
  • Provide active support on operational issues, propose potential solutions and after approval, support the implementation of improvements to template solution.
  • Actively partner with and challenge stakeholders to continuously improve the solution.
  • You assist the project manager in leading small & medium sized team and work with the application partners to deliver.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and encouraging CoE team members to build and deploy the best-in-class software to provide the best experience for the business user community.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
  • At least 8+ years of experience with SAP, including end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Ability to explain the technical solutions in business language to business stakeholders.
  • Experience of building a template and rolling out SAP across multiple geographies.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution and pharmaceutical industry would be an added advantage.
  • Very strong knowledge of SAP EWM, MM & LE core functionality with good exposure to cross-functional areas such as SD, TM and FICO.
  • Have extensive experience in building interfaces with external systems like WCS, WES, RF Solution & external 3PL using EDI/ALE/IDoc, webservices & other technologies.
  • Ability to debug and read ABAP code.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented & result driven personality and have an end-to-end perspective.
  • Good communicative skills & team player.
  • Command of the English language. Ability to speak other European languages would be an added advantage.
  • Flexible to travel on project work.
