Description

Project/Department Description and responsibilities The job is situated within the tribe Disability. This tribe covers the business domains Incapacity and Indemnity. The Tribe is organized in self-managed Squads. The scope of a squad contains stories coming from:

  • Production issues
  • Change Request backlogs
  • Business projects
  • Technical debt reduction projects.

We are looking for a Scrum Master to train, develop & improve general knowledge and performance of the team. The person will need to make sure the members of the team are in line with the Product Owner to assure a well delivery at their best capacity.

Primary Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Help enhance people/technical strengths and competences
  • Lead the Scrum team in using Agile methodology
  • Help organize personal/company performance plan
  • Analyze and understand strengths and weaknesses of the situation in order to define an improvement plan to be implemented
  • Help the product owner and development team to better work together and achieve the necessary result at best of their abilities
  • Critically assess the situation and help the team define priorities
  • Help resolve conflicts and issues that occur
  • Communicate the progress and enhance internal communication between the Product Owner and the team
  • Assess the strengths of individuals/teams and teach them to use them effectively
  • Guide clients in learning to complete tasks
  • Help in the development of motivation and skills
  • Provide coaching in effective specific techniques
  • Monitor and evaluate progress of the client making sure the team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity
  • Keep records and documentation and prepare appropriate reports
  • Support the product owner

Profil

  • Motivation
  • Strong tracking, coordination and project development skills
  • Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
  • Leadership skills compatible with over 5 years of professional experience
  • Excellent Coaching & training skills
  • Master Degree or equivalent through experience
  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • +5y experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master
  • Very good knowledge of Software Development
  • Very good knowledge of Project/Program Management
  • Working knowledge of Java principles
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Informations générales

  • Languages: Native French or Dutch + very good knowledge of the other language & Very good notion of ENG
  • Location : min 2 days/week onsite (Anderlecht) presence is mandatory, more can be requested by the client to succeed in the mission
  • Start Date: 01/04/2024 , First contract of 6 months and extensions possible
