Job title: Senior Developer - Industrial Automation

Location: Zwijndrecht, Flanders - Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days on-site)

Contract type: Full Time

About the role Join a leading European company in the industrial automation sector. As a Senior Developer, you’ll drive the digital transformation of industrial processes, building and optimizing digitized processes, data platforms, and industrial AI applications. Work alongside a team of experts delivering full solutions to enhance the flexibility, productivity, sustainability, and transparency of production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional analysts and customers to understand business processes.
  • Develop and configure digital solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain various applications including interfaces and web applications.
  • Lead hands-on development and contribute to the full software lifecycle, including testing and documentation.
  • Participate in maintaining and expanding existing applications.
  • Conduct programming and code review, and engage in scrum activities such as specification and planning.
  • Occasionally take on on-call duties for client support.

Requirements

  • Must be located within 50 miles of Zwijndrecht, Flanders.
  • Over 5 years of recent experience in developing MES/MOMS applications.
  • Proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and Windows platforms.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with UI/UX development.
  • Experience with Java, Python, C++, WPF, WCP, Blazor, EF, ASP.NET, and Scrum is a plus.
  • Strong passion for industrial processes and automation.
  • Experience in overseas travel for short-term assignments.
  • French language skills are a bonus.
