Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the JnJ IMPO organization in Beerse, Belgium, as part of the Affiliate Business Center of Excellence (ABCoE).

The Affiliate Business CoE is a cross-principal team in JnJ IMPO, responsible – among others – for the management of the Affiliate Gross Profit, the design and implementation of product financial flows, the review of commercial affiliates operating margins, the coordination of transfer prices, the assessment of inter-company profit eliminations, the management of manufacturing cost prices and coordination and analytics of transactional FX impacts.

What You’ll Do.

As a Senior Financial Analyst in the ABCoE your key responsibilities will be:

The ABCoE team is responsible for the calculation of the profit in inventory (PII) elimination for JnJ IMPO companies. You will play an important role in this process to ensure accurate and timely financial US GAAP reporting for both actuals and forecast cycles.

  • You will lead the worldwide inventory collection process for which a close collaboration with GS, Supply Chain and IT is required.
  • Together with ABCoE and tax planning colleagues, you will actively contribute to the Pharm Operating Margin review process to guarantee at arms’ length operating margin result across J&J Innovative Medicine affiliates.
  • For the US transfer price adjustments, you will make sure that the actual and forecast numbers are reported accurately and communicated timely to all stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate within the ABCoE team to ensure accurate Affiliate Gross Profit reporting for all J&J IMPO entities in all forecast cycles, as well as the necessary management adjustments in both actuals and forecast cycles.
  • You will partner closely with various teams across the organization: JnJ IMPO finance teams, tax, commercial organizations, supply chain, etc.
  • You will participate in projects such as Transcend and take initiative to implement process improvements (via digital tools).
  • For processes in your scope, you will maintain high compliance standards via SOX documentation and managing audit requests.
  • You will perform ad hoc financial analysis.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who has the following profile / qualifications:

  • Team player – able to balance own interests with those of the team.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and analytic skills with the ability to balance big picture with attention to detail.
  • Must work well in a dynamic team environment and possess a hands-on mentality with a continuous mindset to challenge, improve and optimize current processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with SAP, Anaplan/CFIN is preferred.
  • Interested to strengthen expertise in the set-up of global financial flows and profit alignment between Janssen entities in line with IP structures.
  • Pro-active in connecting and energized to collaborate across functions.
  • A passion to achieve results.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
  • Finance / accounting background with a minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience.
