OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Key position in the Indirect Procurement Team, together with your colleagues you’re fully accountable of the

procurement process and competitivity for the indirect spent containing consultancy, services, facility

management, insurance, CAPEX & OPEX….

Organisational Reporting

Direct reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager

Indirect report to the indirect Commodities managers and to the Site Procurement Director.

Network & Links

This position is in full line with the indirect procurement organization.

The job holder will have to exchange information with:

• All product lines potential Sourcing Internal Customer network
• Procurement Indirect Global network across Alstom legal entities
• Finance networks Corporate and other Alstom Sector Procurement Organization
  
  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Applies & support Alstom Procurement rules, process & tools
• Identifies and inventory project and business needs
• Consolidates needs and defines Procurement strategy with the Indirect Sourcing Manager
• Negotiates cost reduction with suppliers
• Participates to panel elaboration
• Insures QCD achievement
• Places orders for projects on his/her scope
• Reports his/her results on a monthly basis to Indirect Procurement network
• Establish, validate and follow up the completion of orders
• Makes sure that suppliers selected are complying with Alstom ethic code and Sustainable Development

• Optimize and decrease total costs of ownership of purchasing families through strategy building with
  
  

internal customers, supply base performance monitoring and development as well as internal ways of

working optimization.

• Manages return of experience and gives feedback to the Indirect Procurement manager and all stakeholders
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

EDUCATION

Business school or Engineering degree with Master in purchasing

Previous experience: Operational dealing within projects in sourcing, engineering or commercial
