Company description

Our client is a Belgian leader in the food sector, located in the area of Brussels. To lead their business transformation, the company is looking for a Senior Program Managerto implement their Operational Excellence vision.

The objective is to further professionalize the operational value chain within the 10 production sites (coffee, cheese, wine...) where 1000+ people are working.


Description of the function

The program is in its start-up phase. The objectives to be achieved and the TO BE architecture have been described.

The program covers all operational processes: purchasing, product development, quality, production, operations, maintenance, (advanced) planning and sales.

Collaboration with a core team of different disciplines to lead the program in a coordinated and integrated way: change manager, enterprise architect, enterprise IT architecture, PMO.

Analysts are also available to the Program Manager to describe the processes more precisely and to handle the translation of the process descriptions into the ERP.

The Program Manager works closely with the Operational Production Director and the various domain owners.

What do you do in practice?

  • You lead the initiation, definition and execution of strategic programs in the right direction. To do this, you work closely with a core team: business managers, business architects and a change manager.
  • You ensure the realization of the roadmap. Depending on the program, you manage a program team of 50-60 employees, sometimes even more than 100, and an implementation partner.
  • You create an environment where everyone involved is motivated to work towards the same goal.
  • You manage program risks and dependencies with other programs and projects.
  • You monitor the program and report regularly to the steering committee.

Profile description
  • You are an experienced ERP Program Manager, preferably in the food and beverage manufacturing/retail industry
  • You have extensive experience with recent and successful ERP programs in which different projects (ERP/ Master data/Reporting/ ...) with strong interdependence are managed
  • By nature, you are used to clearly define the scope of the project and follow it closely
  • You identify and oversee the interdependencies and bring logic to them
  • You can think three steps ahead, anticipate and act in close collaboration with the various domain owners
  • You take the client’s strategic plan into consideration as well as the organization’s future growth when designing the program
  • You are a natural connector in a matrix organization
  • You are a hands-on and down-to-earth kind of person
  • You are a leader always striving for cooperation, both within your multi-disciplinary core team that manages the program, as with all other stakeholders
  • You are open to feedback and invest in continuous personal growth
  • You identify and assess the consequences of certain proposals/decisions in the program in a timely and correct manner and mitigates risks
  • You facilitate decision making
  • You believe in standard solutions
  • You excel at managing stakeholders at all levels, both operational and the strategic
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French
