Our EMEA Supply Chain Team is responsible for the distribution of products in EU and non-EU countries through its network of 3 Distribution Centre’s.
The role of Senior Supply Planner is focused on the Import Planning of Assays and consumables for the Diagnostics, Surgical, and Breast Health divisions. Is accountable and responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating the most cost-effective and efficient way of importing products in scope from the manufacturing locations which are mostly overseas.
In this role you will:
- Connect with manufacturing locations and define/reach a consensus on the volumes and cadence of import.
- Collaborate with Logistics, to embed and identify the optimal trade-off in the Import Planning of the cost of transport vs inventory carrying cost.
- Work with the Demand Management team, to define the optimal Safety Stock levels.
- Be a change agent within Planning, supporting planning integration of acquired companies, driving projects on planning automation, efficiencies, and maturing processes.
- Deliver excellent customer service by partnering with the wider business and supporting company goals, alignment on priorities, and driving efficient communication.
This role would suit experienced professionals with the following:
- Experience in supply planning roles with proven knowledge of cost-based planning and master planning Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple internal and external functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset and skills including statistical analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of operations/manufacturing processes and systems (ATO, MTO, MTS) and management of diverse product portfolios.
- PC Proficiency – Excel, PowerPoint.

- Oracle ERP and Kinaxis Rapid Response Planning software is a plus.
