Systems and Service Engineer FOR OUR BENELUX ENTITY

Natus Medical Incorporated (Neuro Division), leading provider of healthcare products used for the screening, detection, treatment, monitoring and tracking of common medical ailments in neurological dysfunction, epilepsy and sleep disorders is looking for a Systems and Service Engineer (m/f) for its Belgian entity.

This offer is for a permanent positionatfull time (40h per week from Monday to Friday).

Job Description

Our Belgian entity, OSG, based in Kontich (Belgium) is looking for a Systems Engineer, responsible for setting and migrating up environments.

You are a technical specialist with a broad skillset. This makes you capable of installing new environments, configuring external HIS connections and performing migrations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

With the Service team, for our public customers (hospitals) and for our Neurology Software Suites:

• The installation/upgrade of server environments
• Investigate highly technical issues
• Record and report of your activities in our CRM (Salesforce)
• The creation of migration plans, the creation of required scripts (or tools) and the executing of said migrations
• Informing the project manager of timeline and giving feedback
• Documenting technical details of customer environments
• Deep diving possible application bugs and passing your findings along to our R&D team

Travel required: Fully optional. Customer visits and international training opportunities are available

Qualifications

• 5+ years of similar experience on technical service or systems engineering activities in the medical device industry
• Bachelor degree or higher with IT knowledge or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of administration of Windows servers
• Experience with SQL, you will use your knowledge often
• Networking skills and understanding of the architecture behind customer networks and their pitfalls. A network stack holds no secrets for you.
• Experience with HL7v2 based communications systems (or similar such as DICOM/FHIR) as well as Mirth connect is big plus
• Minimal knowledge of Javascript, SMB/CIFS, Windows AD and basic scripting (in e.g. Powershell or similar)
• Able to work with a range of diagnostics tools such as Windows Essentials, Wireshark, etc
• Well organized : autonomous and self-driven, proactive and in control of administrative work
• Good professional Dutch and English (written, spoken) level is required to work within the company.
• Good professional French (written, spoken) is a bonus.
• Valid driver licence.
