Solution Architect (AWS/DevSecOps)

€600 per day

Do you want to work for an international global institute who have work all over Europe?

My client is looking for a Fluent English-speaking Solution Architect to join their ongoing project in Brussels.

This is an opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic company working on a long-term major project in an international, multilingual environment where you can add a real presence to the team whilst the role offers a fantastic package.

Your tasks:

  • Plan, implement, maintain and upgrade secure DevSecOps pipelines for cloud based environments (AWS)
  • Facilitate the continuous delivery and automated testing of information systems in cloud based environments (AWS), by using application life cycle management and automation tools
  • Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for the IT landscape
  • Contribute to the delivery and release processes for container based (kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu) and cloud based pipelines (AWS)
  • Support and advise development teams in on boarding DevSecOps practices around continuous deployment, automated testing and release pipelines
  • Support and advise development teams around the integration of various tools into the DevSecOps pipelines, such as Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Nexus, PKS, AWS EKS.
  • Define, design, coordinate, and review DevSecOps related architecture and procedural strategic documentation
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT with at least 13 years of IT professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience in solution/application architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience in cloud development (AWS) and DevSecOps
  • AWS and cloud certifications are considered as strong assets
  • Strong exposure to kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu and cloud based pipelines (AWS)
  • Solid experience in using Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Nexus, PKS, AWS EKS.
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
  • Excellent command of the English language.
