Function description

To support the above, we are looking for a Senior Manager Sustainability within the Belgium-Luxembourg Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability (PACS) team, reporting into the Director PACS Belgium-Luxembourg.

In this role you will work in close collaboration with all internal functions, such as Supply Chain, Strategy and Commercial within CCEP, as well as with the colleagues of The Coca-Cola Company and other franchisors, and externally with federations, decision takers & makers, NGO’s & media.

Key Responsibilities Would Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Ensuring the implementation of CCEP’s sustainability strategy and coordination of all sustainability initiatives at a local level, working in close partnership with CCEP’s Sustainability VP, Sustainability Director and Sustainability leads in other BUs and with The Coca-Cola Company.
  • Leading the development and delivery of sustainability programs and strategic partnerships in Belgium-Luxembourg – with a focus on Environment and Community.
  • Supporting the commercial agenda by overseeing strategic partnerships with customers and acting as a subject matter expert to support customer engagement/dialogue on sustainability and creation of joint action plans.
  • Building a proactive stakeholder engagement strategy with influential sustainability stakeholders, to showcase CCEP’s sustainability credentials, both internally and externally and to develop a strategic approach to sustainability KPI’s at local level, in partnership with KO.
  • Acting as official CCEP external spokesperson on sustainability issues/topics at Belgian-Luxembourg level - representing CCEP amongst senior level sustainability stakeholders, on relevant trade associations and sustainability think tanks and by speaking at conferences and conducting media interviews where appropriate.

To Be Successful In This Role You Need

  • Master degree in Communications, Law, Engineering, Business, ... or equivalent by experience
  • Corporate responsibility & sustainability agenda understanding
  • Experience in engaging with stakeholders, networking & influencing
  • Business/commercial & external landscape understanding
  • Proven track record in Planning, strategy development & Project management
  • Customer focused mindset and strong Business Partner skills (engaging with stakeholders & networking)
  • Strong ownership with respect to the performance of the business
  • Effective communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Embracing and driving change
  • Proactive, positive, “can do” attitude;
  • Fluent Dutch, French and English
