To strengthen our Analytical CMC Statistics and KM team, we are looking for a high caliber, self-motivated, CMC Statisticianbased in Braine l’Alleud, Belgium

You like to work in an environment where you can:

Provide statistical expertise to CMC drug development and manufacturing activities:
  • Design experiments, perform statistical analyses and write reports and/or presentations for internal and/or external clients
  • Deliver and communicate results in a customer-focused meaningful way.
  • Ensure that suitable statistical techniques are applied according to guidelines requirements and scientifically adapted.
  • Support regulatory submissions and investigations.
Develop and deliver statistics training courses to CMC audiences
  • Create training material to support statistical training
  • Organize and/or facilitate required trainings in order to ensure that statistical techniques are understood and applied correctly by the scientists.
  • Promote constant feedback from scientists about needs on statistical, computing and data management needs.
Change Management And Communication
  • Adapt, devise and implement novel data-analytical approaches and tools when they add value and insight.
  • Keep updated on new CMC statistical developments within the academia, industry and the regulatory authorities.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills
  • Statistical consulting skills combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and experimental designs (DoE).
  • Proficiency with statistical software packages such as R, SAS, and JMP.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree with a scientific-mathematical background (mathematics, applied mathematics, engineer).
  • Master’s degree in statistics or biostatistics (PhD in statistics or biostatistics and/or experience as statistician in product development within the pharmaceutical industry it’s a plus)
  • Other industry experience (pharmaceutical in clinical or preclinical, Chemistry industry, Food industry) may be considered
