About Air Liquide
Mission
The Stock and Transport Manager has to coordinate a team of cylinder dispatchers in charge of secondary transport as well as primary transport by coaching and supporting them in their daily tasks in their assigned geographical zone.
He/she is also responsible for the stock management of the plant, by implementing the best practices of stock management to ensure the availability of the products for the deliveries.
He/she continuously promotes the Air Liquide’s safety and quality standard, as well as the continuous improvement and innovation in his organisation.
He/she closely and regularly manages and maintains the relationship with the carriers, the sales teams and the customer service center teams.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Optimizes the efficiency of the cylinder distribution: build and implement transport plans, adapts distribution methods.
- Manages the team of "dispatchers"
- Monitors indicators and controls the execution of the distribution
- Manages the stock of the plant
- Promotes Air Liquide’s safety and quality standards
- Evaluates carriers and drivers’ performance
Your profile
- Bachelor in Transportation, Logistics, Management
- 5 to 7 years experience in road transportation, distribution and supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge/experience in supply chain management (logistics, route planning, tracking and systems).
- Solid know-how in team management.
- Knowledge of/experience in project management

In this role:
- You report to the Industrial PG Sites Manager Benelux and you are a member of the "management team" of the Milmort site, together with a Production Supervisor and a SHEQ Responsible.
- You manage a team of 5 people located in the site of Milmort.
- You work closely with your counterparts of the sites of Herenthout and Eindhoven, the PG Logistics Manager Benelux, the PG assets team Benelux and the Customer Service teams.
