Job Description

Are you interested in the ins and outs of Supply Chain? Do you like communicating with various people, internally and externally? Do you strive for continuous improvement? Then, this is the job you are looking for! We are looking for someone to join our Supply Chain Team.

As a Supply Chain Planner for Spare Parts, you will coordinate all demand planning activities directly with the Service Engineers, and establish a robust supply plan with BDs suppliers and/or manufacturing facilities. You have the primary responsibility for all demand, supply and inventory for the Spare Part portfolio. You will report to the BDI EMEA Supply Chain Manager.

Point of Contact for the Service Engineers

  • Lead joint demand planning activities for the product portfolio and for identified equipment. You will do this by developing and maintaining an integrated/collaborative demand planning process
  • Respond to demand and supply changes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate delivery plans with the service teams, and address gaps between demand and supply

Point of Contact for Global Supply counterparts and/or Vendors

  • Develop weekly net requirement plans
  • Create Replenishment orders
  • Enable receipt of spare parts
  • Review lack of in-transit supply and place additional orders or change method of shipments

Supply Chain Planning Activities

  • Develop and own product master data as related to planning activities
  • Establish appropriate safety stock levels
  • Balance inventory levels versus service
  • Prepare supply chain metrics and monitor SC performance
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement within the integrated supply chain

Your Profile:

  • You have a Master degree in Economics or a Bachelor’s Degree with some first experience in the field;
  • You have some first experience in demand, supply and inventory planning;
  • You have had exposure to regional planning and global initiatives (plus);
  • You possess strong facilitation, influencing and supporting skills;
  • You have excellent process development capabilities;
  • You are able to deal with ambiguity, are a continuous and versatile learner and are Self-motivated.
