The R&D and Technical Service center as well as additional sales, marketing and finance activities are located in Bracknell (UK). Our head offices are located in Richmond (US).

For our Logistics Office inWoluwe, we are looking for a (m/f):

Supply Operations Coordinator – 12 months contract

The function :

Manage transportation planning and execution across Afton’s third party transportation and logistics locations including final invoice reconciliation. Secure inventory and transportation associated with customer and restock orders to ensure shipment in a timely, cost-effective and quality-driven manner. Provide oversight and guidance to locations managing their own SAP transaction. Reconcile and control inventory at each location.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage order processing from delivery creation through shipment execution including coordination of all transportation scheduling, site notifications while ensuring adequate inventory levels.

2. Determine most cost-effective shipping method, may occasionally negotiate rates for new or one-time freight costing.

3. Work with third party manufacturing locations and planning to ensure timely production to meet orders. Manage production and process order creation and reconciliation to ensure inventory is available for order processing.

4. Manages inventory at third party sites to meet demand including order replenishment and raw material purchasing. Responsible for reconciliation and disposition of inventory.

5. Monitor production and shipment schedules at third party sites to determine if they need to be adjusted to handle expedited shipments – authority to authorize overtime as needed.

6. Audit invoices from third party transportation and equipment service providers for accuracy and provide accounting with appropriate codes to ensure timely payment.

7. Support Afton plants and third party facilities to resolving daily transportation issues that arise with service providers.

8. Support 3rd party providers in troubleshooting problems encountered during SAP processing (e.g. post goods receiving, inter-plant transfers, production order); ensure service providers update SAP timely and accurately.

9. Responsible for responding to customer or supplier complaints involving third party locations.

Profile:

• You have at least a bachelor degree
• You are fluent in English (written & oral). Knowledge of other languages like Dutch, French, is a strong asset.
• You are a proficient user of MS-Office
• you are able to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of SAP S/D is a strong asset.
• You have strong oral and written communication skills to distribute relevant information accurately and timely.
• You are flexible and have the ability to estimate impact of issues on customers and take appropriate actions.
• You are enthusiastic, multifunctional and open to new challenges.
• You are an excellent team player and willing to contribute to the success of a very diverse team.
