The ORAC HR department was founded in 2017 and quickly focused on the fast business growth with adding many new oracians. Talent acquisition has since then been one of ORAC’s major strategic elements to cope with our tremendous business growth. In order to further support this growth and professionalize the HR department, ORAC has created a new, dedicated role of international talent acquisition partner.

The talent acquisition partner will streamline the smooth execution of the global talent acquisitionwith the goal of scaling our hiring philosophy in the entire company. This comprehends the profile definition, sourcing & selection process and onboarding. You will report to the group talent manager and be part of an international HR team of 7 professionals (4 based in Ostend).

  • You own the completetalent acquisition process. You will focus on candidate experience in our process.
  • The greatest impact you will have in ORAC is the hiring quality. You will execute several talent acquisition procedures yourself and be part of many hiring committees in ORAC.
  • You build partnerships with all stakeholders and main executors in hiring: hiring managers, hr bp’s and interviewers.
  • You translate our employer brand in compelling stories and campaigns. You build local presence in plants, hubs and customer teams.
  • You manage sourcing and recruitment. You agree on the go-to-market with hiring managers and hr bp’s. You post, communicate and campaign about our vacancies. You source candidates and engage with passive and active talent. You stay in touch with the job market.
  • You train and challenge managers to hire and select according to ORAC values.
  • You streamline the collective and individual onboarding strategies in order to help the hiring manager bring his new talent up to speed.
  • You report all international hiring needs, collect metrics and use insights for improvements of the talent acquisition process (eg candidate experience, quality of hire, time-to-close)

Who are you?

  • First and foremost, you firmly believe hiring is about finding talented people that have the potential to become better than yourself.
  • You believe in the ’hire for attitude, train for skill’ principle.
  • You want to be part of a company that values a team decision in hiring and chooses to hire sure, if needed slow.
  • You have excellent listening & interviewing skills and you know how to collect insights in a candidate’s personality.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the full talent acquisition scope: from profile definition to onboarding.
  • You have experience in an international environment (travel, work, volunteering,...) You speak English. Dutch is a big plus, since Ostend will be your ’base camp’.
  • You can enthuse hiring managers and other stakeholders, but you are not afraid to challenge them too.
  • You like to streamline processes and value time to train our oracians in this. Because of our growth, we do have frequent first - time hiring managers or interviewers.
  • You like to travel from time to time (preferably 2-3 times/year, more if you feel the need yourself)
  • you have a bachelor or master degree or match with experience.

What is our offer?

At ORAC, we believe we hire for attitude, train for skill. So you will be trained in the ORAC hiring philosophy and you will learn from our best interviewers. We learn by doing, so you will receive this training by diving right in to this.

Our international environment is fast paced, that puts talent acquisition high on the agenda. Many of our hiring managers have first handedly experienced the benefits of our hiring principles. You will thus join an environment that is open to hire the talent of tomorrow. We expect you to scale this philosophy and the processes in our entire company, with every new hiring manager and interviewer.

Orac has opted for a decentral organization structure, with big emphasis on customer centricity and autonomous teams. Once you know your way around all stakeholders, you can move fast and with big impact.

Since we are growing fast, career opportunities tend to evolve quite rapidly, but we would like to grow together: current possible career paths in HR are towards a talent manager role or towards a HR bp role in plants or customer teams.
