To support this fast growing business unit, Katoen Natie is looking for a VAT SPECIALISTfor its site in Kallo (Antwerp) Belgium.

Job Description

KTN is seeking a highly skilled and motivated VAT Specialist to support all KTN companies on VAT matters. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple people and teams across different business units to ensure compliance with VAT regulations and optimize VAT processes (worldwide).

  • Provide expert advice on VAT ( & withholding tax )matters to all KTN companies
  • Collaborate with various teams and business units to ensure VAT compliance, including:
  • Local KTN accountants
  • IT team supporting the configuration in the Oracle system
  • Business analysts implementing the VAT matrix in their WMS
  • Monitor and analyze VAT regulations and changes.
  • Conduct VAT audits and reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for VAT optimization and implement strategies.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification in VAT or taxation is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in VAT compliance and advisory
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to travel
