About the job

As a Technical Entertainment Platform Product Manager, you design & manage entertainment platform enhancements and extensions that enable delivery of products and features that answer our customer’s needs and enable us to continue to lead via superior entertainment solutions.

In this role, you will focus , together with the Product Owners, on managing the p latform roadmap of our video delivery components and in-house developed entertainment platform integration services . Within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, integrators and testers , your goal is to create an entertainment ecosystem of services and components that deliver seamless, highly performant video services for our residential and business customers.

• You lead key platform initiatives for the entertainment platform roadmap.
• Based on research & existing data, you build extensive knowledge and deep technical understanding of the platform and the customer needs in the video delivery area, and you translate this into relevant insights and business opportunities
• You work closely with other squads , departments and external partners to align the product roadmap and to assure timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives in your area.
• You manage the product lifecycle of the components within your portfolio

• You monitor customer satisfaction of our connectivity solutions, and initiate projects to improve the connectivity experience and bring innovation to the customer.
• You act as the product expert and internal/external product evangelist, and you challenge and help the squad members to come to optimal platform solutions.
• You work on business cases for your initiatives together with the Product Owners and Finance.
• You keep in touch with the customer through various channels (research, sales channels, customer care, field technicians, web, …).
• You anticipate competitive changes and market trends and translate this into imitative proposals
  

Profile:

• You have a university degree in economics, engineering, marketing or MBA.
• You have relevant product management experience and engineering experience in the video domain
• You are passionate about technology, telecom and media.
• You are a real team player, willing to work in an agile environment, who also gets results by his/her own efforts

• You take ownership of your projects and can act as a ‘go-to’ person
• You combine strong analytical skills with a creative and positive mind
• You are a strong and convincing communicator, and you know how to deal with a multitude of stakeholders on different hierarchical levels both in-and outside Telenet
• Languages: Excellent Dutch or English skills, with a solid knowledge of FR , both spoken and written
